On Day 1 of a 2 day Salar tour, I walked around a lagoon that houses flamingos. One really loses a sense of space when gazing into the vastness that is Salar de Uyuni. The Salar is so flat that the mountains in the background seem like a fake backdrop. The pink flamingos complete this surreal spectrum of color. From a pure blue sky to a white surface to pink animals, Salar de Uyuni was certainly a natural wonder in my world. Thus far, this is my favorite picture that I have taken.
