To my surprise, as I returned home from work while taking on my usual walk, I spotted the Cristo de la Concordia in the distance for the first time. El Cristo de la Concordia, made of steel of cement, is the largest statue of Christ in the world - even larger than the one in Rio de Janeiro. Although this one in Cochabamba lacks the location and the aesthetics of the one in Rio, I'll get to see it every day!
